DIGIBUSINESS Finland gathers Finnish companies together for world conquer

The general objective of the DIGIBUSINESS cluster programme is to facilitate the development of digital content products and services. The competence cluster aims at enriching the lives of the citizens as well as intensifying corporate and public-sector operations. The DIGIBUSINESS Finland focuses on developing content business expertise in companies in the field to penetrate the international markets. The activities are intended for growth companies.

The competence cluster gives rise to new business concepts and international success stories in particular in the field of eLearning, multilingual communications and content management, games and entertainment business as well as social media.

DIGIBUSINESS Finland gathers all the national resources into one place. This gives us means to execute substantially larger development programmes succesfully. Centralising the administration also gives each of the five regional offices a chance to concentrate on their own areas of expertise. As a result, the resources available are being maximally utilised. Closely knitted to the network are also Finland’s biggest universities, research institutes, developer organisations and companies.

Internationalization and business competence are the focus points

DIGIBUSINESS Finland has selected four focus points for its operations:

  1. Internationalization
  2. Business competence and new business opportunities
  3. Digital sector PR
  4. Events and networking

We help small and medium sized companies to grow by developing their business competence and creating networks they can benefit from. In addition, we promote the implementation of new customer and market oriented business ideas.

The show is run by Culminatum Innovation Oy Ltd whose role is to create international networks, to start up pilot projects and to provide first-point-of-contact service for international companies and venture partners. Financed by TEM (Ministry of Labour and Trade) DIGIBUSINESS Finland is one of 13 programmes included in a national business development project.
