DIGIBUSINESS Finland
gathers Finnish companies together for world conquer
The general objective of the
DIGIBUSINESS cluster programme is to facilitate the development of
digital content products and services. The competence cluster aims
at enriching the lives of the citizens as well as intensifying
corporate and public-sector operations. The DIGIBUSINESS Finland
focuses on developing content business expertise in companies in
the field to penetrate the international markets. The activities
are intended for growth companies.
The competence cluster gives rise
to new business concepts and international success stories in
particular in the field of eLearning, multilingual communications
and content management, games and entertainment business as well as
social media.
DIGIBUSINESS Finland gathers all
the national resources into one place. This gives us means to
execute substantially larger development programmes succesfully.
Centralising the administration also gives each of the five
regional offices a chance to concentrate on their own areas of
expertise. As a result, the resources available are being maximally
utilised. Closely knitted to the network are also Finland’s biggest
universities, research institutes, developer organisations and
companies.

Events and networking
We help small and medium sized companies to grow by
developing their business competence and creating networks they can
benefit from. In addition, we promote the implementation of new
customer and market oriented business ideas.
The show is run by Culminatum
Innovation Oy Ltd whose role is to create international networks,
to start up pilot projects and to provide first-point-of-contact
service for international companies and venture partners. Financed
by TEM (Ministry of Labour and Trade) DIGIBUSINESS Finland is one
of 13 programmes included in a national business development
project.
